Our HAAN Pockets are made with Polypropylene (PP5), which is characterized by its strength, flexibility and resistance to heat. It is one of the safest plastics as it does not leach chemicals and it is 100% recyclable.

Refill Pouches are unfortunately, not recyclable. We believe this to be an inconvenience and we are aware that as a company, we still have things that can be improve and the least we can do is to be fully transparent with our actions.

On a positive note, we always try to be as sustainable as possible, that’s why our Pouches generate 89% less of used plastic in its creation while also contributing with 341 liters of clean water for developing countries.

Yes, our products have a 36-month utility since its manufacturing until its expiration, so it is recommended that they be used within this time for best product quality... but we think you’ll love them so much that this won’t be an issue.

All the stock of HAAN Pockets available in our website is refillable so you are able to extend the life of your hand sanitizer up to 3 times.

If you happened to buy your Pocket in a physical store, you should check if your bottle is refillable by opening its cap. If your bottle has a white lid right next to the spray button, your Pocket is refillable.
